Day 1 WELCOME TO UGANDA

Arrive into Entebbe on your international flight. Meet, assist and transfer to the beautiful Papurus Guest House where you refresh and relax for the morning. Lunch is on your own and thereafter an excursion to the Lake to see the Shoebills which is a unique Ornithological Species found here. Although rather ugly it is is soul soothing to see it in its natural environment. The Papyrus Guest house is a homely haven that you will truly enjoy. Dinner is included with a restful overnight at the guest house

Day 2 KIBALE THE CHIMPANZEE HAVEN

A Very Good Morning as you arise to the fresh smell of Ugandan coffee. After breakfast we transfer to the magical Kibal Forest National PArk which is near Fort Portal in Western Uganda. This beautiful 4-5 hr journey takes you through some of the greenest Africa in harmony with nature. Here this Park bares homage to a very large number of Primates. This is home to the Chimpanzee, the Red Colobus, the Black and White Colobus, L’Hoests Monkey and the Grey Cheeked Mangabeys,

This afternoon we enjoy an excursion to the Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary, a great example of a community based approach to Natural Resources management which can be of good economic benefit to the local residents living within the area and to the Tourism Industry. This Sanctuary is a paradise for bird watchers and we will ensure you see at least 50 Species of birds this afternoon. Lunch, Dinner and overnight at Turaco Treetops

Day 3 CHIMPANZEE TREKKING AND TRACKING

A lovely Breakfast is followed by your Chimpanzee Day. The density and diversity of the Primates in Kibale National Park is the highest in the whole of Africa. Enjoy your day trekking and tracking the Chimpanzee, the L’Hoest Monkey, Red, White and Black Colobus, Red Tailed Monkey, Sykes and Vervets and the Mangabeys and Baboons.

Day 4 THE BWINDI IMPENETRABLE FOREST, HOME OF THE MOUNTAIN GORILLA

This morning we depart from Kibale after breakfast with a packed lunch as we depart for a 6 hr drive to Bwindi which is through some of the greenest places in the world. This wonderful drive will mermize you and cool your mind as you arrive into a historic rain forest that is home to the Mountain Gorilla. Arrive here at the magnificent Nkuringo Bwindi Gorilla Lodge. Have a relaxed evening as you immerse yourself in nature's beauty.

Day 5 GORILLAS IN THE MIST

After breakfast we promise you a heavenly day in your life. Just enjoy it as it flows.

Day 6 HOMEBOUND VIA ENTEBBE

A relaxed rise, a heavenly breakfast and thereafter transfer to the airstrip for your flight to Entebbe and onward flight home from Entebbe.

Safari Vehicle
Our Safari Vehicles are designed to give you comfort and space to enjoy a wonderful experience of natural wildlife sightings. Baggage Space is strictly restricted so please do not over pack as you will need to leave back extra baggage at a cost of Storage and Transportation. The Safari vehicles are open from the top and non air conditioned.

  1. Please note that complimentary drinking water is not served during meals in Kenya. This has to be purchased from the bar at most lodges and camps
  2. The hotels offer two bottles of drinking water in the rooms on complimentary basis
  3. This Safari is conducted in a Landcruiser with 7 window seats maximum.
  4. Our vehicles are not air conditioned as they have open tops so air conditioning will not work
  5. Game driving is restricted to a maximum time of 8 hrs a day as your guide’s daily duty time.
  1. Kenya is Visa free but you need to do a mandatory electronic travel authorisation which you can do at www.etakenya.go.ke
  2. Baggage must be packed in soft suitcases or Duffel bags only and a maximum of 15 Kgs per person and 7 Kgs of Hand Baggage on Safari.
  3. For Arrivals after 2 pm, guests must spend the first night in Nairobi as they cannot proceed to the National Parks.
Clothing and Footwear

  4. Long trousers for the evening
  5. Comfortable shoes or boots for walking and a pair of flip flops
  6. Swimming suits
  7. Jacket or wind cheater for early morning and evenings
  8. Please pack soft bags.
  9. Please note that internal flights only allow 15 kgs of maximum baggage.
  10. Extra weight will have to be paid for directly by yourself

Payment Policy

Our Payment policy is as follows:
For International and Domestic Air tickets a 100 % prepayment must be received at the time of confirmation of the booking. These are subject to penalties of various kinds and therefore please confer with us to ascertain what is applicable.

Payments are required as follows unless otherwise agreed:
50 % deposit upon confirmation of the Safari if booked more than 90 days in advance. Balance payable 60 days prior to arrival. In case the Safari is booked within 59 days, full prepayment is required at the time of booking. All Bank Charges are to be borne by the clients or agents.

Cancellation Policy

The following Cancellation policy is application:
Over 90 days- Nil Penalty
89- 60 days- 20% Penalty
59- 45 days- 33% Penalty
44- 30 days- 50% Penalty
29- 15 days- 75% Penalty
Less than 14 days- No refund at all
